From seaside towns and beaches to your favourite little corner of the world, I can embroider your chosen place name onto a gingham flag - making a lovely little keepsake for your home, garden or holiday memories.

Crossstitch and Embroidery kits to get you started into sewing or you can browse our ready made items form Lavender Eye Masks and Reusable face wipes to Pencil Cases and Coin Purses.
Also available is a selection of carefully selected fabrics by the fat quarter, these I use to make the items above so they can be limited.

I'll be taking over the back room at The Rockpool and filling it with everything I can carry - handmade embroidery, sewing kits, clothes, seaside treasures, gifts and lots of lovely things to rummage through.

Beginners Hand Embroidery Workshop with Alice & Thread at Maker Mart, Exeter
Learn how to do hand embroidery and enjoy a cocktail at the same time!
In this workshop we will cover beginners embroidery: Applique, Blanket Stitch, Chain and Daisy Stitch, French Knots, Running and Backstitch.
£30 per person for a 2 hr workshop & Cocktail from The Mermaid.
You will take away with you your practise materials, needles in a handmade case and handouts.
